Point Pleasant amassed 600 yards of offense -- 452 rushing, 148 passing -- and 31 first downs in a 63-7 rout over visiting Ripley on Friday night.
Point quarterback Aden Yates completed all eight of his passes for 148 yards, and three went for touchdowns -- to Jon Peterson for 44 yards to open the game and Chase Walton for 5 and 11 yards.
Walton rushed eight times for 101 yards, including TD scampers of 8 and 7 yards. Cody Mitchell led the Point rushing with 134 yards on 14 attempts, including touchdown runs of 1 and 49 yards.
Colin Peal was 9 of 9 on extra-point kicks.
After Point (2-0) built a 42-0 lead in the second quarter, Ripley (0-2) scored on Jacob Harrison's 82-yard pass from Trevor Tucker.

CLAY COUNTY 37, BRAXTON COUNTY 20: Tyler Stewart threw for three touchdowns and ran for two as Clay County scored the game's first six TDs in a victory over visiting Braxton County.
The Panthers (2-0) built a 31-0 halftime advantage and led 37-0 entering the final 12 minutes.
On his scoring passes, Stewart connected with Gavin Nicholas for 28 yards, Stephen Cole for six and Ricky Ahart for 15. Stewart scored from 1 and 25 yards, and Ahart added a TD on a 15-yard run.
In the fourth quarter, Braxton's Thomas Pritt hit Anthony Conrad on a 19-yard touchdown pass and Greg Bly on a 37-yarder. Lucas Bonnett completed the Braxton scoring with a 30-yard run.
The Eagles fell to 0-2.
